16 & Under Youth Art Show

We are featuring works from Sheldon Sundberg, age 16, with phenomenal photography and paintings by Laila Shrouds, age 8, with adorable painting.  Both these Local Artists are very talented and have a maturity to their work that is well beyond their years!  We are so honoured to be able to help them on their creative paths! You too will be impressed with their talent and creativity. 

Come help us Celebrate them at the Show's Opening Reception on Friday, January 4th from 5 - 8 pm and see their works on display throughout the month of January.
Fluid Art, also known as paint pouring, flow art, liquid art, etc... is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a runny (fluid) consistency. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined together to make interesting and visually organic motifs. Fluid acrylics can be used 
on many types of substrates and in many different forms such as pouring, dripping, swirling, glazing, dipping and many other effects.

We are exploring this art form with three very talented artists - Dianne Griffard (Jackson, MI), Todd Meder (Lansing, MI), and Ozz (Grass Lake, MI). and are hosting an Artist Reception on the First Friday of the Month, February 1st, from 5pm to 7pm. 

There Art will be available for the Month of February at K Gallery.
